Refund policy

At Happy Otter we want you to be happy with every order. This policy explains our returns, cancellations, refunds and replacements.

1. Return window

You may request a return within 7 days of delivery. Requests made after 7 days may not be accepted.

2. Conditions for return

The item must be unused and undamaged, in the same condition you received it.
It must be in its original packaging, with all tags, manuals, free gifts and accessories included.
Valid proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.

3. Non-returnable items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective:

Personal care and hygiene products;
Customized or personalized items;
Perishable goods; and
Any item marked non-returnable on its product page.

4. Cancellation policy

Before dispatch: Cancel any time before your order is dispatched for a full refund. Email care@happyotter.in with your order number.
After dispatch: Orders already dispatched cannot be cancelled and are handled under the return policy above once delivered.

5. Damaged or defective products — Replacement

Please inspect your order on delivery. If an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at care@happyotter.in with your order number and photos. We will arrange a free replacement or a full refund at no extra cost.

6. Refund timeline

Once your return is received and inspected, your refund is initiated within 2 business days.
After initiation, it may take 5–7 business days for your bank or card issuer to credit the amount.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Prepaid payments made via Razorpay are refunded to the same source.
